Robert holds a Master’s Degree In Public Health and Nutrition from Tulane School of Public Health and Bachelor’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies From Long Island University. At Tulane School of Public Health he studied under Dr. James P. Carter, a pioneer in complementary medicine. This reinforced his passion for Functional Medicine, nutrition, nutraceuticals and their applications to promote health and wellness. Robert’s passion for nutraceuticals and bioflavonoids led him to research the beneficial effects of curcumin in macular degeneration at LSU Eye Center. As well, he has extensive knowledge of nutrition supplements and experience in product formulation in the nutrition supplement industry. As a Physician Assistant he has worked in Neurosurgery and currently works in Infectious Disease which he has done for the last 10 years. Robert believes that nutrition is the basis of health, is a powerful tool in healing, is significantly underutilized in medical management, and is an effective adjuvant to positively impact many disease processes. He recognizes that there are multiple factors that create health and vitality. Robert understands the multiple challenges facing our health today and that nutrition, lifestyle and spiritual health are critical for health, happiness, and productivity. Robert has a passion for teaching and helping people empower themselves through knowledge. He desires to bring his experience and knowledge to benefit each of his patients and their unique individual needs.
